Simple Champagne Glass Tiramisu

There’s few that can say no to tiramisu, and with a bit of added elegance to the presentation and a simple twist on the traditional recipe, this dessert will be your new go-to treat for all your future parties.

Your New Year’s Eve Party isn’t complete without a decadent dessert on plate and a champagne cocktail in hand. We’ve combined these 2 party must-haves for an elegant treat worthy of the countdown.

This is a quick and easy recipe for tiramisu using a marscapone substitute and a no-cook method.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package lady fingers
  • Cocoa powder
  •  
  • For the cream filling:
  • 1 package cream cheese (full fat)
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sour cream (full fat)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  •  
  • For the coffee mixture:
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

DIRECTIONS

Whip together the cream cheese, whipping cream and sour cream in a medium bowl until well combined. Blend in the 3 tablespoons sugar and vanilla extract.

Mix coffee, vanilla and 2 tablespoons sugar in a small bowl.

Place small pieces of lady fingers in the bottom of each champagne flute. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of the coffee mixture on top of the lady fingers. Layer in the cream mixture. Add in more lady fingers, coffee mixture, then cream in order ending with the cream at the top of your champagne glass. Sift cocoa powder onto the top of the cream to finish.

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Makes: 4 flutes
